Raised in a Ghanian-American family, Katherine Ntiamoah's parents instilled within her the idea that her only limits would be self-imposed. She took that to heart and has been expanding her limits throughout her life--with Americorps, the U.S. State Department as a diplomat, and now in academia, where she seeks to break down the limitations of the next generation of global leaders.

Katherine is the Director of Policy Engagement and Strategic Partnerships at Indiana University's prestigious Hamilton-Lugar School of Global and International Studies. She has nearly two decades of experience in diplomatic and public service. She has led strategic communications and public engagement at US embassies in Brunei, Benin, Ghana, Singapore, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with additional assignments in Washington, DC, Belgium, Mexico, and Pakistan. Her work has focused on countering disinformation, empowering civil society, and expanding access through economic and educational initiatives. Earlier in her career, she served with Americorps and held advocacy roles with the Livingstone Group and the US House of Representatives. She is an editorial board member of the Foreign Service Journal and serves as co-chair of the Global Migration Working Group at Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security, and Conflict Transformation.

Her Substack, Still, I Notice Everything, explores power, language, and culture through the lens of diplomacy and daily life.
